Cold Brew Green Tea

Cold brewing tea is the absolute easiest way to enjoy cold tea on a hot day. It takes a little bit of of planing but, hey, all good things take time, right?

It's much more of a method then an actual recipe.

Ingredients:

8 cups of filtered water

5 tea bags OR 8 teaspoons of loose leaf green tea (I used these organic green tea bags from DavidsTea)

1/4 cup honey syrup (see note)

1. Fill a jug with the filtered water, add the tea bags and place the jug in the fridge for 8 hours or overnight.

2. After the tea has brewed, removed the tea bags and add the honey syrup. Mix to combine.

3. Pour and enjoy!

Note:

To make the honey syrup, mix 1/2 cup of filtered water and 1/2 cup of honey in a sauce pan over low heat. Warm the mixture enough to dissolve the honey into the water. Remove from heat and let cool. The honey syrup can be stored in the fridge for a month.
